I’m a self-taught contemporary artist. I began my career in advertising where I wrote, directed and developed a talent for conceptual thinking.

This is evident in my work today.

I started out by painting loose, semi-abstract landscapes in oils. However, when I discovered the freedom and impulsiveness that acrylics afford, I was able to explore more subjects and styles from conceptual to geometric abstracts. Generally speaking, my style is described as contemporary or modern art.

Rather than paint what I see, I paint what I imagine. To me, that makes a painting truly original.
